KeycoBoard requires iOS 16.6 or later, or macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon or Intel. AI features need an internet connection. On iOS, enable the KeycoBoard keyboard and Full Access in Settings. On Mac, follow the accessibility setup in the app. Voice input also needs microphone permission.

KeycoBoard is an AI expression console for Mac and iOS. Use voice input, rewrite or translate text in the input field, and control your style with sliders. It works alongside your existing keyboard: use shortcuts on Mac or the keyboard extension on iOS.

Yes. Pro users can write lasting preferences under “Custom Rewrite Prompts” in the app settings, and both rewrites and voice input follow them. For example: “Always write numbers as numerals”, “Format amounts with thousands separators, like 12,800”, or “Keep a friendly but professional tone”. Preferences adjust the details of your wording without changing the current rewrite goal. Translation does not use them.

This is constrained by the iOS keyboard extension model. Extensions can only access text around the cursor instead of the full editor buffer. We optimize context capture, but very long content may still be partial. Splitting long text into sections gives better results.

At the system level, iOS keyboard extensions cannot detect each app's single-message length cap. If generated text exceeds that cap, the host app may show an error. For long content, send in smaller batches.

Yes. The Free plan includes a shared allowance of 30 uses per month for voice input, rewriting, and translation with base models.

Your input, results and voice recordings may be saved in local history on your device. You can delete them or set automatic cleanup.
